    I see the latest solar project being pushed in South Australia is the US based Solar Reserve proposal for a 110MW molten salt plant.

    The article suggests a price around $100MWh which is twice average SA price yesterday. Good luck fiddling your production into those short lived price spikes.
    While readers are at these  reneweconomy.com.au articles they can checkout the nifty NemWatch graphic on the right and see how often it is that wind power is near useless in NSW, Vic, SA, Tas or WA. QLD appears not to use wind power? Is there less wind in Qld?
