Hey P. Good to see one of the STt crew on board. Read your stuff regularly...good stuff.
Yeah it is for me as a trade strategy. Not someone that just jumps in DT style. Don't get me wrong I'll give it a flutter occassionally but it's hit and miss. Must be the only person in Oz that made a loss on ARV when it first broke out on an entry of 9.3. It was a paper cut...but teinforced the notion in me that there's a lot of focus needed in that game and I don't have the kind of stamina to make a decent fist of it.
When I find something I like I tend to get impatient only to say wish I'd waited a little longer on that package.
The raise here because of it's sheer size is an unknown for me so combine that with recent macro a wee bit more cautious. Visions of GFC events always haunt me...but that aside wondering if others have examples of how things panned out on similar type dilution (good or bad)...an example doesn't readily come to mind for me other than an IPO I entered first day and it went south from there. Fortunately I managed to escape unscathed but many got stuck and they're not happy! Think it will come good at some point in time and if ducks line up could be massive...but it's an unknown yet.
Anyway... the combination of Maggie Beer/Organic Milk/growing global movement for clean food and Oz's role in that (currently and in future)...what can I say....nice!
Hate Monsato and want Australia to lead the planet in banning all genetically modified food and the creation of monopolised infertile seed banks. It's an abomination to humanity and Monsato is the lead player.
So yeah...this is ticking a lot of boxes for me...and it sounds like this CEO has an interesting background...somewhere between sinner and saint it seems.
Plenty of fun ahead I think...but need more time to hit "conviction" status.
Cheers
