crazdewd, the ASX continuous disclosure obligations require a company to announce to the market any price sensitive information immediately the company becomes aware of it. If the farm-in by MEO has failed due to an inability to reach an agreement, MEO can not sit on it. It has to be announced.
On the other hand, if it is still finalising the agreement or negotiating the terms there is nothing to announce until it is legally stitched up. C'mmon, stitch it up Jurgen!
