Certainly has been a drier January with below average rainfall around Georgetown.......approximately 100mm has been recorded to date compared to 270mm being the January average. However that is not the case along the coastal areas with Cairns recording 650mm for January to date, somewhat more than their January average of 390mm.
Seems that the inland regions of Qld are missing out again, higher than average temps and lower than average rains......of course that can all change in a day.
How many truckloads of ore could've been transported to Georgetown for processing........had we that damn ML already!?
