One thing I should add that was just a bit of a throw away from the meeting yesterday is the start-stop technology (i.e. where the car turns itself off when stopped) requires a lead acid battery 3x the size of a normal car battery. Ian mentioned that as this technology becomes more mass market it will have a significant effect on the demand for lead.
