Is everyone aware of the power situation in Victoria??
Lignite is the main source. Brown coal. Alinta bought loy yang A and B coal power plants at the start of this year. When asked about the changing energy mix and the govts desire for renewable energy sources Alinta stated they felt it would take decades to wean the state of coal fired power.
Do the state govt talk to a company like this??
How does Alinta feel about their investment this morning?? Probably fantastic....
