It's my understanding that Zenith Pacific originally evolved from a company that Gavin Great started along with several others (of which Doug Walker wasn't one), Doug "bought" into this company and had it rebadged.
Like many keen investors, I would really like to know the reason for Gavin’s sudden departure from his successful start-up. At a recent networking event, I met some that both knew and worked for him, their common remarks was that he was extremely passionate about Zenith and.................... which makes his departure even more intriguing.
At the time of Gavin Greats departure, a mass exodus of key staff followed, unnoticed and unreported. Again, intriguing as to what is actually happening. This might have something to do with the companies new direction with their management.
“The majority of Zenith’s key employees are former Statewest staff, who have collectively amassed a vast amount of experience and expertise.”
Their statement regarding their staff seems a little misleading as there are actually very few employees that have been with the company long term, apart from Doug Walker and the COO, there would only be a possible two others (neither being key employees) who were involved in Statewest, this is a far from being "the majority".
I question as to what projects Zenith Pacific have been involved in that were not fossil fuel based, their literature reads as if they are experts in alternative fuels, yet I can see no evidence of their involvement in any projects (other than an attempt at a solar that I believe never got off the ground ).
