I'm a little surprised actually. While the stage 3 partnering aim is good news, the commercial production announcement had some negatives. Output is sitting at around 200kt/y which is 60% of the 330kt/y planned with recovery struggling at 45% (of planned 75%). I thought they would be doing better in their ramp up tbh. Additionally, their SC6 sales price (and likely AJM too) has come down some more from the US$740/t to the 660-710/t range.
Currently up 13%, so I'm not complaining. Maybe this is part of something bigger across the board. Who knows. AJM will get its turn. Just need both companies to have a successful ramp up and EV sales to keep booming.
