From the reading I done. Pure bred wagyu is the most expensive. Why would they want to mix it with brahman unless they want to make a wagyu brahman breed for the local market given the premium prices commanded for wagyu. Alternatively replace brahman cows completely and become biggest wagyu supplier for asia and in particular for the japanese.
I think the japanese are very particular with pure bred wagyu prepared to pay premium pricing.
