    Well it is certainly a resource that could be tapped, but it would be far more expensive (to produce from) than brine from the Salars in Chile and Argentina, and I expect most hard rock operations as well. It is about half (or less) the concentration of those Salar brines. Assuming that there is a similar matrix, a lot of the expense would be energy to evaporate the water. You really need a (preferably hot) low cloud, low humidity, low rain, low dust environment to reduce energy expenditure. There are not many environments in the world that are suitable for this. Evaporation ponds have failed in the US in the past.

    Maybe it could be economically piped to the Nevada/Arizona desert, if that desert is suitable? But then you are still dealing with a very poor starting point disadvantage.
