May I suggest you Google (as opposed to goggle) what is happening in the world of lithium-ion batteries, in particular the reliability of them and their advancement in performance. 25 years on and they're still the choice of dozens of manufacturers....and getting better by the day.
Lithium may well be replaced some time down the track, but in the meantime I'm well and truly on the gravy train. If you fail to see this and you miss out, you only have yourself to blame.
