Hi All. Have just return from a holiday to Shanghai China. WOW...First ever ride an a BYD (SUV) electric car. It is so much better than a normal SUV..... Bring on electric vehicles in Australia. Cost saving are 1/10Th of a diesel car. SO if you diesel car cost you $100 to fill up , it would only cost you $10 worth of electricity to recharge. WOW what a saving.
Also in china you need to purchase a number plate which costs up to $20,000 US dollaors before you can purchase a car. But if you purchase a new electric vehicle they are free. No need to purchase the number plate. WOW .
Just some very interesting facts about the Chinese car industries.
