RJ thanks for that. I don't know much about ASN and their other commodities. I'm focus on high grade lithium and potash as by product.
I think Utah is pretty good. Nevada they only care about casinos, show girls and UFOs, harder for mining workers to focus on work haha.
if lithium price collapse to US$8000 a tonne, most high cost rock lithium producers in Australia will be bankrupted. So low cost and hig h grade are very important. Rock lithium you can ramp up production very quickly. Lithium brine using evaporation method can take over 2 years to extract. However, BMG and several brine explorers and looking at Lilac direct extraction which takes 2 hours instead of 2 years. This means brine producers can ramp up productions at very low cost. Originally we have rock lithium is because brine producers cannot ramp up production quickly to meet global demand. Further, with Lilac direct extraction you can make lithium carbonate or lithium hydroxide directly without adding too much cost. I think lithium hydroxide is spherical shape and higher energy density than carbonate. Future electric cars will need more energy density to travel further.
However, if hydrogen fuel cars come online we all doomed. IMHO hydrogen fuel cell cars probably won't happen anytime soon.
