the premium product description relates to the "quality" of ore in terms of its chemistry and physics and hence in turn metallurgy required to win the lithium from the ore.
A40 lithium ore has the least impurity of any Australian hard rock ore - therefore described "premium" ore.
it requires less effort (inevitably $) to create the battery product from the ore than any other ore for sale from OZ today.
this should in turn attract a premium agreement price for future offtake.
given the premium quality it might be possible to mix our product with lower quality to bring the sum product up to specification required for battery level grades.
seeing as every other Australian company current except us has sealed the deal on their future product with long term offtakes in place it could be worth patience when negotiating a new offtake agreement toward sake of our most definitely "premium ore"
