No one other than Antio can successfully introduce 30 to 40% silicone into a working anode and just they happen to be in Brisbane , is the plan to manufacture the the ultra performance Li batteries in partnership or a tech Royalty? it should be an interesting AGM . pure gut feel speculation.

In line with the internal growth in the battery projects and the technology’s continuous exposure to various external industry parties, Anteo will be looking to grow its battery team. This is a critical step to provide the project with additional and complementary skill sets but also to prepare for growth as technical and commercial interactions with potential partners and customers intensify. Additional team members will not only support increased testing throughput and accommodate upcoming work with external parties (as required) but also ensure that progress can be made on multiple product opportunities.

Previously tested prototypes of the advanced anode materials indicate the potential to significantly increase the energy density of LIBs. While the use of silicon to improve battery performance is not new, introducing it into the anode in the quantity needed to obtain the desired improvement in performance while maintaining reliability and longevity has so far proved problematic.

The first stage of the development programme will commence immediately with the establishment of laboratory and testing facilities in Queensland. Operations will commence under the terms of a memorandum of understanding. Full details will be released on execution of binding documents.
