    Hi @Semi retired

Philips dumped minicare because it wasn't going to be profitable in a reasonable time frame. And "Dumped" as in got rid of the whole HHDX team.

Here's an extract from a email I receive from their former Marketing Communications Specialist, last November.

"I’m sorry to inform you that, after a careful and detailed analysis of the business case of our Handheld Diagnostics business (Minicare), Philips has come to the conclusion that the business case has become unsustainable. The projected further investments and the required longer period of time for the business to become profitable have led to this conclusion. As result, Philips intend to close our Handheld Diagnostics business."

There's zero chance we will be dealing with Philips on Minicare

The old team are still trying to flog it as a new standalone venture, but if it's the same decision maker as last time, I'm guessing going back to ADO would be like swallowing a dead rat. For ADO, even if we did get back into the product, where's the value? The Philips brand name and thier distribution horsepower has gone.

    Cheers

    Muz
