FFF360 is right in that there are 50 (probably more) or so other companies like LRS looking to produce lithium. The reality in my experience is that the vast majority just won't get there. That's why companies like LRS or LPD have such a modest share price despite the massive potential and their various projects. If it was a forgone conclusion that LRS was going to be one of the companies significantly contributing to the world lithium supply the price would already be 25-60 cents...
Why I persist with LRS and what I think many other similar companies/ competitors don't enjoy are the fact LRS has;
When I consider all of this I see potential for a signicant increase in capitalisation with the current share price cheapish to say the least.
- Tenements in one the best lithium producing areas world wide
- Fantastic infrastructure close to the drill sites (roads,ports)
- A mining ready workforce close to the drill sites
- Close proximity to some of the worlds likely biggest lithium consumers
- A new government regime- who our CEO seems to be well connected to- eager for mining investment
- No major land rights issues or wet seasons to contend with
- Exceptional grades of Lithium at least in the surface samples - including visible spodumene crystals metres in length (I can't exactly figure out how exceptional this is but other photos I have seen of good drilling samples did not have crystals that large)
- Plans to sure up JORC resource (obviously if the stuff is there in sufficient quantities and grades) in first half of the coming year
- Plans to design and build a processing plant to be in production 2018 even if some think that's ambitious - at least the company is striving to make things happen ASAP
- A viable Mineral Sands project in negotiations with potential partners together with copper exploration which if it came off could be as big or bigger than the Lithium play
Seeing the bigger picture helps me not get so upset over trivialities like drilling being slightly delayed ( easy for me to say as I don't hold oppose yet) by red tape or the CEO getting performance bonuses offered to him because the company foresees imminent company performance.
I do think the current price is cheapish...
