LYA burns 60,000 tonnes per day.

Coldry anticipated to produce max 500 tpd by 2015 and run for demo testing for 18 mths???

500/60,000 = shandy mix of 1 part Coldry to 120 parts raw BC.

Let's say that 1 tonne of Coldry reduces CO2 by (I'm being generous here) 50% per tonne to burning raw BC.

So max. %'age shandy mix per day of BC burnt would be less than 1% Coldry/99% raw BC.

This would equate to less than 0.5% CO2 reduction from LYA.

DICE equates to 50% CO2 reductions, faster ramp up/down times, etc.

Sure it's many years away...but if you think that GH and his DA plan is going to get through the ALP/G's with potential 0.5% reduction in CO2, well...

...stop gap measure or not...that's going to be a difficult one to sell...
