The following post is just some scatching around the ground (Internet). It may be a dream or it might have some basis. It maybe a guess!
--------------
In Feb 10 2010 LIO released a statement saying that the article on a number of websites was incorrect report.
Here is the report:
"Lion Energy Limited has become aware of an incorrect report on the HotCopper website which purports to be sourced from the Xinhua News Agency. The incorrect report claims that "China Huadian New Energy Development Co. Ltd. will partner with Lion International Investment Ltd. to build 1 GW solar thermal power plants in Gobi Desert area of Qinghai, northwest China" and it continues to provide further details of the purported project.
In fact, Lion International Investment Limited (LII), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lion Energy Limited, has commissioned China Huadian Engineering Co. Ltd to prepare a report on an energy opportunity in China.
Also the following states a report will be issued:
"No investment decision has been made by LII at this stage and LII does not intend to make any investment decision on this project until at least after this report has been received and considered."
The interesting part of the report is highlighted as it may have some linkage to the following article (all a guess!):
--------------------
The following extract taken from:
sustainablebusiness.com
ESolar has signed aggreements with:
www.esolar.com
Penglai Electric who will have:
"With Penglai as our partner and with the strong support of the Chinese government, eSolar is proud to be the first company to deliver the benefits of cost-effective solar thermal power to China, said Bill Gross, founder and chairman of eSolar."
"China Huadian Engineering Co. will lead the construction process. At completion, China Shaanxi Yulin Huayang New Energy Co. will own and operate the first 92 MW plant."
----------------
Comments:
- Interesting that China Huadian Engineering Co. is building the solar plant.
- When are we getting the report, re China Huadian Engineering Co. and LII
- What is happening in China and LIO shareholders money?
- Has LIO or its Chinese $3M counterpart lost the lead?
- Will there be some info in the coming quarter report (China connection) or will it be a rehash on the Serum Block 2.5% ownership.?
This is all conjecture and nothing more. I have no idea than what I read from the internet.
I do know that LIO directors or contacts read this forum. So maybe we will read some info and see some real SP growth.
