LIO (Kufpec) are actually due to start drilling Oseil any day now, but at only 2.5% I wouldn't expect too much excitement.

Even so, within just 3 months or so, these new wells should provide them with an extra 450 barrels per day of production...not exactly to be ignored!

The upcomming sole risk wells are possibly their best short term headline grabber, but as you say, they are still months off...as are any Cooper activities.

There is however the possiblility of something left of field...

One thing everyone seems to have forgoten about is their 100% owned LTS Gas Plant, originally from WAPET, Barrow Island, which is presently in protective storage in Jakarta.

With the renewed shift towards gas fired electricity generation in the region, there is always the chance of LIO actually doing something with it?

Anyway, not sure how high their shares might get and whether their options will end up in the money or not, but given the apparent interest in their shares of late, it would appear that current prices should be able to hold.

Interestingly, they may have a googleplex of shares on issue, but the entire register has changed hands in recent months, most of which have traded above 1c.

Sometimes it's the most unlikely stocks that can provide the biggest surprises.
