not 10000 trucks only 5000 according to wikipedia but they do work em hard 24 hours and I have no idea if all the subcontractors vehicles are also included in that number. Definately does a large portion of all the highway miles in Australia in the areas they deal in.
Here is the ABS numbers for how many vehicles of each type. So with the number out there it is amazing as you say just how hard the fox fleet must work as they are all over the place or maybe we both live around the corner from a fleet base and notice them? .
