LOL why did you link to that post showing me being all balanced. You're only supporting my side of the argument here.

"I would counsel not to get too confident about legal arguments half of which none of us have much of a clue about. For instance we don't know what arguments BOPL are making and people here haven't changed confidence even with the landscape shifting considerably with State Revenue vs Abbot Exploration, it's gone from "Of course we'll win!" to "Of course we'll win!". It's not as simple as that.
OBL is trying to compromise with REY and that should show everyone that OBL themselves don't think it's a slam dunk either. If they don't then I don't know why anyone else should.
To me it just looks like normal legal or legal-as-a-negotiating-tactic argy bargy to me. REY did almost the same thing to BRU themselves, took them to court and negotiated an outcome out of court.. I've said many times the most likely scenario is some kind of compromise. They tried with BRU, now they're trying with REY. I will be about the least astonished person on earth when the results come out whichever way they go as I'm not black or white on the situation. We'll find out soon enough now how it all breaks down.. compromise, outright win or otherwise."
