You and your esteemed partner and cohort, GreenHorn, are masterful and knowledgeable in your ongoing prosecution of Queensland politicians who you blame for damaging the good value of that great company Linc Energy (it clearly had nothing to do with the management of Linc Energy, but all due to these dastardly politicians.....). WALKLEY DOCUMENTARY AWARD (Award partner Linc Energy) surely needs to go to the Locked Horn site, aka Hotcopper LNC site.

Missing Linc

Peter Bond's plans to flee Australia – to find a land where his business genius is appreciated – is not going all that well.
The smaller of his two neighbouring Brisbane bolt-holes – a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, stunning, architect-designed home on 12,600 square metres – failed to sell at auction a few weeks back and is currently for sale "by negotiation".
The actual family home next door –  a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom, seven-car garage palace with 132 metres of river frontage, which Bond bought for $9.5 million in 2008 – was for sale by expressions of interest that closed December 2.
It is now for sale by negotiation, too.
There has been no further word on the charges that have been brought against Bond and other senior Linc executives of failing to ensure Linc Energy complied with the Environmental Protection Act, but CBD suspects we will hear a lot more about this in the New Year.  
It got CBD wondering about the $27 million he splashed on Dunk Island. This time last year Bond was filling the Murdoch press with stories about the rejuvenation of the island's resort as a luxury health and wellness spa which was due to open early this year.
The Dunk Island website currently reports: "Peter Bond's vision for the resort is a work in progress and we can't wait to see the end result."
But the Bond family are already working on their next tropical island project. On Dunk Island.
In November next year the lease expires on the Spit part of Dunk Island which is owned by the state government, not the Bonds.
Despite the family's rather tardy work on the resort – Peter's son, Adam Bond – was enthusing to the Cairns Post recently about his plans for this land.  
According to the report, construction of a "spectacular" resort near the Spit would commence within "two to five years".
"I want to ramp up the development of the Spit, develop all that fringe infrastructure that feeds into justification for the resort," said Bond.
We assume this is the same resort that his father had just about completed building this time last year.
