Lockitt, don't you think Peter Bond's reputation is completely trashed already, regardless of whether or not environmental damage has happened? Nobody would trust him with 1c after this debacle. In hindsight it's amazing he had his 15 minutes of fame at all, given his illiteracy and bogan image.

These claims of environmental damage aren't what brought the company down. The company was doomed due to mismanagement (no hedging of oil prices when they were selling oil), false claims (unsustainable bopd targets, ucg never really being commercially viable) and stupid decisions (move to SGX).
