Don't think you're alone in this fella, I have sold shares and watched them.go into trading halt with big news! How many times I turned around.and expected to see a camera or someone having a giggle! It's maddening at times but it does happen. The best you can do is diversify, say oil, coal bio... I held Oex 300k from average of 6.7c...jumped.out at 16, seeing at 21 all I could say was bugger!

Oex has been through the storm and heading for sunny days, a little faith helps too!
