I had to chuckle when the PM held his press conference and labelled it a "game changer" then told us we would save up to $20 per year on our power bills (independently assessed at closer to $15).

I heard that Andy Vesey told the PM he could jam his energy market intrusion, though I haven't read anything yet. Good on him. I don't mind regulation per say, but it's pretty laughable that the flagship of free market economics was trying to tell a listed company what to sell and who to, lol.
