Thanks Eshmun, it's been a profitable week, probably one of my best ever in the market. I regret not buying more RRL at the lows and missed an order by one cent at the open on the day in July when it gapped up and began the uptrend.

I won't dwell on OBV much more but I feel at best it is a coincident indicator on the chart so probably not surprising that it is moving with the share price. Chicken and egg sort of stuff.

For all I use charts the gold market in the first half of this year was all about fundamentals and cash pouring out due to a weak A$ and cost falling over the last two years. It took forever for the broader market to catch on, too busy in falling bank stocks I guess.

I do like NCM and they seem to be making decent progress with cost cutting and paying down debt. The US dollar debt has been a bit of a problem (could turn in to a benefit if US dollar starts to fall as I believe it will). Truely world class operation at Cadia too. I was actually discussing it with a friend of mine who has a bunch of options. His thought was when the gold market starts to trade on reserves in the ground Newcrest will soar, although I think that is probably something for much later in the gold uptrend.

The RRL chart looks great but encountered a bit of selling yesterday and hit my next resistance level of $2.20. If we can consolidate and break through there then $3.20 should be the target from the double bottom.
