yes my understanding is the following
1. it will scale up parabolically ( expect to hear screams of it does not work when as part of that it drops away for a short period
2. It will be compatible with and only with those coins that are built on the bitcoin block chain and are segwit enabled . This will present a huge problem for Roger Ver and BItcoin cash has he has constantly refused to implement segwit theerfore leaving amalleability problem in bitcoin cash .
