Probably worth noting that if using hedged managed funds or ETFs, hedging can increase the volatility of distributions unless the fund makes particular steps to avoid this (under the TOFA rules). Most funds however do not do this due to cost and complexity. So if you are after income from hedged vehicles, just be aware of this possibility.
