Oppositions don't make the laws. It's the govt of the day they are usually protesting about because that govt is not seen as adequately addressing their concerns. When Labor was in govt the protest voters saw them as underperforming and now the coalition in govt is seen after two terms as also having not delivered. IMO some of those voters will return to the majors while others may look elsewhere given One Nation has stuffed up big time.
