This year also looks to be hugely exciting one for cash rich Leyshon Resources (LON:LRL), which is helping bring the unconventional gas revolution to China.
Shares soared recently after the company revealed test results from its ZJS5 well, its first on the eastern fringe of Central China’s prolific Ordos gas basin, which flowed at 160,000 cubic feet a day - beating the 125,000 cubic feet target for commercial production.
It also is a great confidence boost for the other wells in the company's programme.
The company says it has more than enough cash for its exploration programme this year and recently agreed to extend exploration on the project out to 2017.
