I agree with you and have thought for a long time that QMN would be a good fit for exs.
To be honest with you, I would not be suprised that you and I are not the only ones who think this ;)
Time will tell, but for Cashed up Exco it could be well worth to get some more highly prospective dirt right next to their excisting tements for a small price.
Syndicated Metals (SMD) could be another good fit, but then Exco would have a huge area of the cloncurry in the pocket and could well become a sitting duck...
