With the sp dropping, it would make sense for the Russian to take the whole company. If he was happy to invest at $2.75 for a portion, in this market he could possibly get all of SRK for around the same price or even less.
I am surprised that we have not seen more takeover activity in this market, especially as this environment lends itself to relatively cheap takeovers.
I will look to buy, but not until the trend changes and it is pointing down at the moment.
