I found myself thinking the same thing when reading the article. Decent summary overall but the journalists assertion that geological info contained within SGQ announcements is too technical is off the mark; SGQ aren't targeting 5 year olds.
IMHO, the level and structure of technical info has been very well targeted to suit most retail investors and couldn't really be dumbed down any further without losing essential detail. As a prospector with a modest understanding of geology, I've had no interpretation issues and to be blunt, anyone investing in the mining sector needs to develop a basic understanding of geology and what constitutes commercially viable results to be utilised in conjunction with broader fundamental analysis before they purchase shares in any company.
