That would very much depend on the mining method used. If, for instance, SGQ decide to go underground, then there will obviously be less overburden to be moved. I'm no expert on the cost and effectiveness of different mining strategies but from past underground experience - in opal mining - a miner has the ability to follow the veins. But then there's the added cost of shoring up the underground shafts. I'm as interested as anyone to know how SGQ will mine, if or when they prove a resource.
My calculations are meant as a guide only. If you, or anyone else, would like to estimate the value of SGQ's palladium content in a 10,000 tonne PA mine, then go right ahead. There are obviously many variables to consider.
