What a debacle! With so many opinions and scenarios discussed, I have given up with this company. The posts referring to the clinical trials lacking scientific documentation have shocked me.
The following is what I have learnt from speculating on the ASX for many years. There are too many stocks to mention that fit the scenarios mentioned below.
1.
Great products (mineral deposits, medicines, inventions, whatever) don’t necessarily make successful companies, it’s the people running the show.
2.
When given a massive short term gain with speculative stocks, take it. (e.g. TIS hitting 70 cents 4 years ago). Don’t wait for the full story to play out because it may never conclude the way one expects. TIS has been up and down for years. Thankfully I took profits off the table every now and then. Had TIS been successful, the annualised gain since first listing would not be all that great.
3.
Many companies are self-centred and disrespectful with the funds that the shareholders provide – Some companies seem to only exist to pay the board and the company founders ongoing high wages and bonuses.
4.
A lack of professionalism and a lack of ongoing communication is a good signal to exit a stock.
No doubt there are more experienced ‘punters’ and investors out there that can improve or expand this list.
