The sad thing about all of this is the disappearance of what once were two good companies - Baulderstone Hornibrook and Abigroup, not to mention Abbey Simons who completed the trifecta under Bilfinger Australia. Was set up like the Leighton Holdings model, but Lend Lease couldn't resist meddling once they completed the takeover from the Germans.
The Bromance with Bouygues appears to have been a bit of a drag too, imo - other potential suitors include Ferrovial of Spain. Wait and see!
