well - i live in mosman, and i can tell you that the house prices here are still going up, no one i know is in mortgage stress or in any kind of debt, me and my families wealth continues to increase...
people arent dumping stocks - their selling stocks to secure profits and switching to stocks which do well in a bear economy; all markets recover - this is nothing. if you have money - wait for everyone to panic like you are and buy the market - when it recovers - your laughing in you aston martin while the fear mongers are crying in the toyota corollas.
