I m actually a just retired engineer. I ve been working in Australia in heavy engineering as design- and as projectmanager. After that I ran my own business in Asia for 20 years where we built all the infrastucture we needed ourselves from large construction buildings to long specialized conveyor systems. What you learn in Asia is that you can look after yourself by building and installing what is required. There labour costs nothing so the whole cost structure is different and focused on material costs.
