This idea from Solar Choice seems to be a very sensible one. There is a comment in their blurb that the Operational Lease system has already enabled Solar Choice to supply and install several 100+kWp systems for commercial rooftops.
Incidentally India has just completed an auction for utility scale solar system with bidding going as low as 14cents Aus$/kWhr
