What struck me the first time I saw CHN's Pyramid Hill ground was the line along which most of Bendigo's ~22Mozs of gold occurrences sit.
The screen clip below is taken from NML's recent Denver Gold Forum presentation. To me it looks like most lie along the direction of the Sebastian Fault and we know where this fault runs through.
It's probably still a long shot but even a Kindergartener would see this is a good line to follow.
Maybe the way to actually find the next big one is to "keep it simple stupid". This is better known as the KISS principle.
