Today's announcement does sound encouraging. I very much liked the sentence:
"We will treat you, our shareholders, with the respect you deserve and will deliver on the promise that you have long waited for". I wonder if they have been having a read of some of the posts here on H.C.?
So, hopefully, we may see the reintroduction of the 'Investor Newsletter' (issue No. 3 in March 2010 was the last such newsletter) and some more Media releases. Gus' interview with Wholesale Investor in October 2012 is the only Media release that appears on OIL's website.
The recommencement of these features together with prompt release of financials and other company news would go a long way in materially restoring the faith for many shareholders.
I'm sure Wink and gmutton, having mentioned in previous posts of having unanswered queries, are now more hopeful of better days ahead.
I certainly hope so.
