Average Joe - haven't you worked out that the "...companies that actually do something" are as rare as hen's teeth at this end of the market? They are nearly all rubbish and even the ones with a decent asset usually get consumed before shareholders have a chance to realise the possible gains. If you want companies that do something, there's the ASX50. If you want trash n treasure, play the game but remember to jump off.
