Huawei today won the Perth Transit Authority contract and in doing so received the tick of approval by both State and Federal governments.
Read between the lines and in my opinion much of why companies such as BAL leveraged to China had such a stellar day.
Such a powerful and timely message to make, we are not dictated by what the US may or may not do, instead we are well and truly open for business with China. On its merits, Huawei was seen as the best tender put forward(against plenty of stiff intl. competition) and was awarded the $100+ million contract.

CFDA approval may be closer than some here actually think!

It can help WHA as well. As a factor of matter, no more lists have been announced in the past 10 days after the first in 3 months. This could imply that the new list to be awaited by us could include WHA, but cannot be released until some good progresses between two countries are made first. Now Huawei's deal should be a good sign.
