Thanks for the reply paperclip. You are correct with thermal coal prices, I have updated my spreadsheet to reflect that. I’ve also remodeled the spreadsheet to reflect the new reporting period July 05 to June 06. The results are EPS of around 85c a share, management have said they intend to payout 30% in dividends for the year so about 26c a share is the dividend for 05/06 year. Yield of around 7% on the current share price. The stock is reasonably priced at current levels; the buy back should keep it firm I would think. If management can extend mine life then the share price might get a rise. Coaking coal prices will have to remain at similar levels for 06/07. I’d like to see management buy back more shares and pay down some debt but not all, as well as focusing on extending mine life. This stock is still trading on a very low PE ratio to its peers.
