    Back in the " old days" Troy only had about 120 million shares on issue and as a result had a valuation of about five hundred million.
    The price of gold was generally lower but there were patches of great enthusiasm and share prices rose accordingly.
    I had a parcel of Emperor Mines which I bought for 50c and sold for around $10 just before the 1987 crash. What a brain rush that was.
    No capital gains in those days unless you were a trader and I had held the shares for about 12 years.
    Back to Troy. I'd be interested to know how deep an open pit would go to access the various levels of ore before the company needs to go underground. I acknowledge some of the ore is close to the surface and that is just a given that processing the gold will be a piece of cake but we really want the desert and that may be more complicated. GLTA...….
