Just read an interview with Simon marAis of Allan grey who have just taken up a position in mce - He said "a company we recently became involved in - it was in a trading halt at the time - was mce" that was it. However it underscores that they are activist fund managers who will take on management if they are not happy. These guys do make mistakes and I hope that this is not one of them - but In the last 3 years they've made 14 % return, better than some fm who shall remain nameless :-) - therefore I'm thinking this is not as hopeless as some may be thinking. Of course it does depend on your buy in price..... I think I'm just gunna shut my ears for the next year or so and keep the eyes peeled for some contract conversions - in excess of the 30% historical.....
