well here we go.
here's the list so far:
Deutsche Bank 68.1m 8.10%
UBS 42.3m 5.15%
Centaurus Capital 66.5m 8.09%
AGL 105.1m 12.8%
Total 282.0m 34.14%
there appears to be a few Top 20 s/h who did not accept the AGL pre-bid offer.
that could be between 5% - 10%.
if the hedge funds shown above have bought in for arbitrage opportunity to get AGL shares then obviously they will accept the offer.
if they do accept, then the MOS smaller s/h are pretty much history!
i would say that the only chance of a better deal is a counter bid - which is not much of a chance now.
i guess if ALL the smaller s/h vote "NO", then the Scheme won't get up - because the Scheme needs 50% approval by number of s/h who actually vote.
