Well it will be interesting to see how this one plays out. Even if it falls through, I don't think the SP will fall a lot. For instance, WPL and OSH have both had a good run lately with higher oil prices, maybe $5.70ish at a guess.
Company seems to have turned the corner, spitting out cash, get that debt down and then resume paying dividends.
Either way, I think holders will be compensated. I'm almost tempted to wait the longer game than take the $6.63...
