I have applied for and paid for shares via Bpay on the closing date in share offers from many companies over the years and this is the first time a company has rejected my application as it was a 'late application'. the money was in their account on the 18th.

if you B-Pay on the 18th, the money will enter their account on the 19th (however their account will show a payment date of the 18th)

prospectus are always very clear to say money must be received by 5:00pm the closing date

I have never once paid by Bpay on the closing date. always two days before. better to be safe than sorry
